1D; 2D; 3D.

Line; planes; blocks.

Tensile and sinuous; smooth and undulating; chunky and textured.

Galvanised wire; corrugated tin; weathered wood.

What a combination of sculpturally ideal materials! Luckily, these are exactly what farmers build fences and sheds out of, so any country property is just full of wonderful juxtapositions of all of them, making three-dimensional and bas relief sculptures everywhere, just aching to be noticed. The rusting of the tin and wire, the remnants of faded and peeled and long-forgotten coats of paint just add an interesting patina. Any sculptor would have great difficulty putting together combinations that are more purposeful and more visually satisfying than these.
