There is no connecting theme to these images, they are just a random combination I like.

1  I love books, and all kinds of book shops. This second-hand book store had way too much stock.

2  I gave this picture its own title, something I rarely do. I called it “Rebel Without a Cause”. Palm leaves are very beautiful, but it is the single wayward frond which makes this one interesting and memorable.

3  I dread to think what part of what animal this is, and I would not choose to eat it, but I loved the shape of it hanging in a Chinese restaurant window.

4  It’s the colourful rhythms, the almost musical counterpoint of these two rows of beach wraps that attracted me, plus the friendly reaching out contact of the pink one top right with the blue one below.
